Erythema Infectiosum (Fifth Disease):

Caused by: Parvovirus B19

Presentation:

1. “Slapped cheek” appearance on the face

2. Lacy, reticular rash on the limbs and sometimes the trunk
Mild fever and fatigue

Management:

i. Symptomatic Treatment:

ii. Rest

iii. Analgesia (e.g., acetaminophen or ibuprofen)
